bulk tank that needs to be accurately monitored, ProCell® Tank
Weighing Assemblies are the solution. ProCells are designed
to easily turn any leg, gusset, or saddle mounted tank into a Chemical
Monitoring System. Using ProCells results in a non-intrusive and
highly reliable method of measuring level. Using weight (or Mass)
to monitor chemical inventory and usage is the most accurate method
since different vessel shapes, fluctuating temperatures and varying
specific gravities are all compensated for automatically.
The ProCell Tank Weighing Assemblies are simply installed between
the ground and the tank legs or saddles. Because most ProCell models
are "self checking" by design, tanks typically do not
require any additional restraint or stabilizing hardware. All ProCells
are designed to accommodate a vessel's thermal expansion/contraction
and uneven mounting surfaces. Applications include bulk Chlorine,
Sulfur Dioxide and Ammonia tanks as well as Lime and Carbon Silos.
